The shot-earth counter created for the Maison Suisse Paris illustrates Switzerland's efforts to promote sustainable development. Shot-earth is an innovative material with a low carbon footprint. It is produced by transforming excavated earth into a high-performance construction material. With its rounded contours, the counter shows how an environmentally friendly material that helps preserve natural resources can meet architectural requirements. It was co-created by the Canton of Vaud's Office for Economic Affairs and Innovation (SPEI), Pittet Artisans and the R&D of HEIG-VD.
