Lucas Dorado is a young vibraphonist from Switzerland/Argentina. He started studying in Switzerland where he got a scholarship to continue his studies at the Jazz Institute Berlin. In 2017, he won the 1st prize in the first "Jazz-Vibraphone Competition" in Pescara (Italy). With his new solo project, he explores different rhythms from Argentina and South America and combines them with modern jazz sounds, giving him his own artistic signature as a musician. Since the vibraphone is a rather unusual instrument in the traditional music of South America, this project opens up new horizons…
