PAR PASSION », you will learn, among other things, that Basel has the highest cultural density in Europe with almost 40 museums within an area of just 37 square kilometres. On the virtual city tour, you will visit some of Basel's internationally renowned cultural institutions:

• the Stadtcasino Basel, which is home to one of the best music halls in the world

• Messe Basel, where the world's most important fair for modern and contemporary art – Art Basel – takes place.

With a wave of your hand, you can control your avatar and explore the innovation centre of Basel, which is one of the leading life science locations in the world. You will visit the Roche Towers, the tallest office buildings in Switzerland, the Novartis Campus with buildings designed by international star architects and the oldest university in Switzerland.

Finally, you reach the large sports facilities: the St. Jakobshalle and the St. Jakob Park stadium. It is clear here that Basel as a venue also has a lot to offer in terms of sport.
